OWNER & DIRECTOR
JOHNATHAN PURDIE
Johnathan Purdie, owner and director Johnathan took over ownership of Ideal in summer 2023, bringing a wealth of experience and a clear vision for the future. He started his journey at the company as installation manager, where he honed his skills and understanding of business operations.

Johnathan boasts over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Not only did he manage his own successful business, but he also took his talents to work overseas in Canada where he oversaw the construction of a new terminal at Vancouver airport.

As owner and director, he is passionate about maintaining Ideal’s excellent reputation for delivering top-quality work matched with unparalleled customer service. He is committed to modernising the company, embracing innovation and driving growth.

With Johnathan at the helm, Ideal is set for an exciting journey while staying true to its roots and values.

MIKE SPOWART
Specialist in conservatories & extensions, Mike has been with Ideal for over 17 years, having worked in the industry for much longer!

He covers everything from new and replacement conservatories, sunrooms, orangeries, and roofline.

Mike is always happy to use his extensive knowledge to advise on the best choice for you.

Stewart Forrest
Having been with Ideal for almost 20 years, Stewart is an expert in all things doors and windows.

He will talk you through all the different styles and options, using his vast expertise to make a recommendation.

Our in-house team of seven installers is unique in our industry, as we don’t outsource the installation of our products.

This means they care about quality, and ensures your installation will never be a ‘rush job’!
